Remember that recent evidence shows diet, not exercise, is the key to fat loss, and the myth of spot fat reduction, like getting rid of your belly with sit-ups, was debunked long ago.

So the most efficient way to sculpt a hot body is:

  1. First, get a sense of where you’re starting with the naked mirror jump test – that’s right, jump up and down naked in front of a mirror.  Fat jiggles, muscle doesn’t.  For women, obviously, some jiggle is good.  You decide where the jiggle is too much and focus your efforts there.
  2. Start working on body recomposition with a healthy diet that controls your hunger.  Your Hunger, not someone else’s calorie count, is the key.
    There is good evidence that low carb works better than low fat.  You don’t have to go the full monty and commit to Paleo or Atkins.  Just cutting out added sugar and alcohol and going to sleep an hour earlier (so you don’t have so much time to snack at night; also better hormonal control of hunger) will give you dramatic results.
  3. The mechanized, repetitive, linear isolation movements of standard gym exercises are old-school and designed to build bulk in weightlifters through muscle hypertrophy.  They also waste a lot of time and effort fatiguing the same muscle fibers.
    Looking good naked is all about long, lean lines, tone, and definition.  You can stimulate the maximum number of muscle fibers along all the curvilinear (very few, if any, muscle fibers run in perfectly straight lines) 3D shape of the muscles in your chosen areas and thus delineate their shape under the jiggle by using biomechanical lean muscle hacks that will optimize your results with a minimal time commitment.

Put these steps together and repeat the naked mirror jump test, you will start seeing results in no time.
